Six weeks of drawing your own map. Available as a live series starting September 8, or on your own timeline anytime.
What this is
Unboxing Ourselves is a six-week guided exploration that gives you the tools to draw your own map of who you are sexually and emotionally, and to build a community to hold all of you.
It’s not a curriculum. It’s not therapy. It’s not a workshop that teaches you the ‘right’ way to be.
It’s guided exploration that helps you examine the cultural identities you’ve been handed and the ones you’ve chosen, and discover what actually serves you now.
Autonomy isn’t the absence of community. Autonomy is the beauty of being in community that gets to (and wants to) love and value the whole of you.
This series isn’t asking you to abandon community, labels, or identities that have felt like home. It’s learning tools for holding those labels loosely enough that they stay a home without becoming a cage. It’s about building a more honest community, not walking away from community entirely.
What we look at
Over six weeks, we explore:
Class 1: The Boxes We’re Handed, The Boxes We Choose
The identities we live in, both those we’ve been assigned and those we’ve reached for ourselves.
Class 2: Desire
What actually turns us on versus what we’ve been told should. Not a problem to fix, but information about who you are.
Class 3: Embodiment
Coming back into your body as a place you live, not a project you manage.
Class 4: Kink
Looking at kink plainly, without judgment or apology, along with the shame our culture wraps around it.
Class 5: The Names We Find Ourselves In
The words that give us community and can also, without our noticing, harden into new scripts.
Class 6: Keep What Fits, Release the Wall
Sorting through what you’ve discovered. Deciding what still fits and releasing what has become a wall between you and your actual self.

Who this is for
Adults (18+) who want to get to know themselves better, or who suspect the boxes they live in around sexuality, desire, identity, and body aren’t giving them room to be their whole selves.
People who want more honest self-understanding and more genuine community, but don’t want to be handed a new script to follow.
Beginner to advanced welcome. This series is designed for anyone willing to sit with real questions about themselves.
How private is this?
You never have to be on camera. Cameras off is a completely normal way to attend, and plenty of people will. You can use whatever name you want, in the class and in Discord, and nobody will ask you to explain it.
The recordings capture me, not you. Nothing you say or do in a live class ends up in the version that gets sold later. And when I repeat a question to answer it, I will not use names at all.
You’re never required to speak or share anything. Watching is participating. Some people will talk every week and some will never unmute, and both are doing the work.

About Me

I’m Erika Hall, a certified Tantric Reiki practitioner, death doula, and sexual embodiment guide…a Taboo Doula. My practice, Rosemary Raven Hearth, focuses on the taboo work our culture avoids: death, grief, and sexuality. I hold space for people to find their own answers rather than being handed prescribed ones.
